How much does a membership cost? An individual membership costs $110. A corporate membership for companies 50 employees or less is $300 and for companies 51 employees or more is $950. We also offer student and post graduate membership at a discounted rate. Does your membership year run on a Jan. 1 - Dec. 31 calendar year, or on the anniversary of when I first joined ACerS (i.e. April 1-March 31)? Your annual membership does not run on a calendar year but on the anniversary of when you first joined. So if you became a member on April 1, 2007, your membership will expire March 31, 2008. Are Divisions, Sections and Classes included in my membership dues or do I pay extra for those? Membership in one division is included in your annual membership dues. If you would like to join an additional division you are welcome to for an additional $10 in dues. Get more division details. Do I get print copies of the Bulletin and the journals as part of my membership? Print copies of the Bulletin are mailed to you each month as part of your membership dues. Unlimited access to the Journal of the American Ceramic Society and the International Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology is available online at no charge. I want to find out who else in my country/state/city is a member of ACerS so I can contact them with some questions I have. How can I do this? Members can access the online membership directory and search by country, state, or city to find a listing of all members from your country. I just graduated last year. Is there any break on membership dues for young professionals who are just starting out? If you have just graduated, your first year as an Associate Complimentary Member is free. The following year you can become an Associate Member for $40. |
